The Eberlestock half-track backpack is a simple but versatile backpack that can be used for a wide range of purposes. Having a storage capacity of 35-liters, this pack can be a great 72 hours tactical backpack. It will serve you exceptionally as you go camping, hiking, fishing, or can as well be utilized as a bug-out bag. The Eberlestock Halftrack backpack measures 24 x 11 x 7 inches. It also has a 35-liter capacity, which is great if you want enough space to store things for a few days. The storage capacity is 3 times higher compared to the Recycled Firefighter backpacks. Despite having these dimensions and capacity, many users argue that this backpack is bigger and more spacious than it is stated on the manufacturer’s website.

On top of the backpack, there is a pouch that measures 9 x 6.5 x 3 inches. Also, there are 3 rows of MOLLE webbing and a row of Velcro for connecting identification patches. Still, at the top, it’s a large pocket with a nice and large zipper where you can keep your binoculars or a bottle of Nalgene. The top pocket is ideal for storing items that you may need urgently or use more often on the trip.

In the front of the backpack, there are 6 rows of PALS webbing and a block of Velcro for identification patches. Additionally, you will see a flat pocket on the front side of the pack that runs the full depth of the lid. While on the bottom of the tactical backpack, there are also 3 rows of PALS webbing and a zipper pocket for the rain fly.

The front-loading, which is also the main compartment of the backpack, has lots of pockets with a good internal linking. When you open this compartment, you will see the flap lid with 8 rows of PALS webbing. There is also a shelf in the center of the space that is held by some Velcro tabs. You have the choice of keeping the shelf down or positioning it up to divide your gear. At the bottom, there are two divider pockets on the back of the pack.
